Note: SONE® carpet tiles are thicker carpet tiles
SONE® carpet tiles are thicker (+/- 9 mm) due to the additional insulation layer compared to carpet tiles with a standard backing, which are usually 5 to 7 mm thick. Keep this in mind when installing or combining carpet tiles. Due to the extra insulation, these tiles are NOT suitable for underfloor heating.
Advantages of an integrated SONE® backing:
- Superior soundproofing: reduces impact sound by up to 33 dB (standard backing 14–28 dB), creating a quieter environment
- Excellent thermal insulation: provides extra comfort in the winter
- High walking comfort: the thicker backing feels soft and pleasant underfoot
New Horizons II – Durable project carpet tiles
New Horizons II has excellent durability and is suitable for all commercial purposes (project class 33). This is a solid project bouclé tile in size 50 x 50 cm with a total thickness of 6 mm. When laid in one direction, it creates a broadloom effect, and when laid alternately, a stylish checkerboard effect is achieved.
Carbon neutral quality
This quality is completely carbon neutral (CO₂-neutral). This means that the total CO₂ emissions of this product are compensated during the entire lifespan, including during use.

Easy to install yourself
These carpet tiles are easy to install yourself. All you need is a good Stanley knife and some TacTiles. You can also order these accessories from us.
These tiles meet all the requirements of project class 33 and fire class S1.
